How do we get to our yacht?
Red Hook is a 30 minute taxi ride from Charlotte Amalie Airport. Text or call when you arrive and we will dinghy to shore to greet you.
What should I bring?
Our Welcome Letter, sent when your reservation is confirmed, gives detailed ideas. Mostly, guests feel they have over-packed. Actually, a backpack with bathing suit, shorts, and T-Shirts is often enough. Guest rooms have an assortment of board and card games, "wet bags" for dinghy rides, and an assortment of usual toiletries in your bathroom, including reef safe sunscreen.
We would like to celebrate a special occasion. Can you accommodate this request?
Can I smoke tobacco or vape on-board?
A Location on Deck is Available for You.
Our US Coast Guard license prevents us from having any illegal drugs nor legal marijuana products on-board.
A member of our group has health Issues. Should I make you aware?
Yes! Both Captains are Red Cross certified first aid respondents. Our first priority is safety.
What if the weather seems unpleasant?
USVI Often Experiences Brief Cooling Showers. These Should Not Impact Your Trip. Occasionally, High Winds Alter our choice of bays and snorkeling spots. Trip Insurance is always recommended, especially during Hurricane Season.
Tell me more about the fishing!
Although we are not a fishing charter vessel (we recommend Ocean Surfari https://oceansurfari.com) we do, however, have deep sea gear for catch and release fishing when in the US, outside Federal Parks waters. Possible catch include small feef fish such as Squirrel Fish, Bar Jack and Yellowtail Snapper, or bigger catch such as King Mackerel, Barracuda, Trevally and Crevalle Jack, caught when trolling off the back while sailing. We have been Known to serve some of the larger varieties for dinner.
Do we need Passports?
Depends on where you desire to sail. The USVI is a Territory of the USA, and Passports are not necessary for US citizens. BVI waters require a passport less than 6 months from expiration.
Can you accommodate weak swimmers?
Absolutely. We have USCG life jackets and an assortment of flotation toys. Some prefer to enjoy their day under the shade of the roomy cockpit or sunning on the front trampoline. The air-conditioned interior salon is pleasant as well. We watch all swimmers for safety.
Am I likely to get sea sick?
Catamarans are very stable and do not heel over on their side as a mono-hull. Still, seasickness can occur. We carry Relief Bands (created for chemotherapy patients), ginger candy, homeopathic topical Oil, and traditional Wrist Bands.
Is getting on and off difficult?
Bending one's knees and supporting one's own weight is required for dinghy disembarking.
The swim ladder, located off the sugar scoop, is easy to use when exiting the Water.
Are you insured?
We are fully Insured as a Charter Vessel.
Are gratuities Included in the price?
Gratuity is not included. We work very hard to go above and beyond for our guests.
Customary gratuity for a memorable sailing tour is 15-20%
